About Rachel
Real Estate Broker • Whidbey Island, Washington
I first arrived on Whidbey Island in 2015 on military orders, never expecting this coastal Washington community to become home. Like many families relocating to Whidbey Island, what starts as temporary often becomes permanent. There’s something about the beaches, the slower pace, and the sense of community that simply stays with you.
But my real estate experience began well before I became a licensed agent.
In 2012, I worked as a Relationship Manager in the mortgage industry, where I operated on the operational and client-management side of lending. I wasn’t just reviewing numbers...I was managing communication between parties, navigating complex scenarios, and seeing firsthand what happens when transactions go awry.
That experience gave me something invaluable:
a deep understanding of where deals break down, how miscommunication costs time and money, and how proactive structure prevents chaos.
When I purchased my first home on Whidbey Island in 2017 and later stepped into real estate investing, I brought that operational awareness with me. Since then, I’ve creatively structured transactions, solved financing challenges, negotiated complex terms, and approached every deal with both strategy and flexibility.
What truly sets me apart from other Whidbey Island real estate agents is creativity.
Creativity in how I market luxury homes.
Creativity in how I negotiate.
Creativity in how I structure offers.
Creativity in solving problems when something unexpected arises.
And creativity in how I serve relocators.
Through my YouTube channel, I go beyond market statistics. I create in-depth content about what it’s actually like to live on Whidbey Island—from Oak Harbor to Coupeville to waterfront communities—so buyers relocating from California, Arizona, Seattle, or navigating a PCS to NAS Whidbey can experience the lifestyle before they ever arrive.
Because relocating isn’t just about buying a house.
It’s about choosing a community.
Whether you’re:
Navigating a PCS to Whidbey Island
Relocating from out of state
Buying or selling a luxury or waterfront property
Exploring investment opportunities
I bring strategic oversight, operational clarity, and creative problem-solving to every step of the process.
My approach is clear, calm, and solutions-focused. I streamline what can feel overwhelming and protect your position in a competitive market.
Real estate is never just a transaction.
It’s timing. Leverage. Lifestyle. Long-term vision.
If you’re considering buying or selling on Whidbey Island, I’d be honored to help you approach it strategically.
Let’s make your next move intentional.
